Spring Seat Locators
Supertech spring seat locators are precision machined to properly locate the valve spring on the cylinder head. They prevent the spring from walking under high RPM operation and protect the aluminum head surface from wear caused by direct spring contact.
Seat locators are also used to fine tune spring installed height, and are designed to work together with Supertech valve springs and retainers as part of a complete, matched valvetrain package.
