Racing Engine Valves

Supertech Racing Engine Valves are engineered for high RPM stability, durability under extreme heat, and precise airflow control. Whether you are building a boosted street car, a road-race endurance engine, or a dedicated drag application, our materials, profiles, and surface finishes deliver proven gains in reliability and performance.

Key Benefits

Why Choose Supertech Valves

  • Optimized head profiles and Superfinished stems surfaces reduces friction.
  • Unmatched overall dimentional tolerances, ensures consitency, and perfection.
  • Multi stage heat treatments and stress relieving, improved longevity.
  • Materials, for any build desired ( Stainless steel, Inconel, Sodium filled, Titanium)
  • Proven in professional motorsport and demanding street builds.

Build for Your Use Case

  • Stainless Intake with Black Nitride for reduced friction and wear.
  • Inconel/Superalloy Exhaust for extreme temperature resistant.
  • Titanium Options (select platforms) for ultra-low mass and faster acceleration.
  • Undercut stems and back-cut heads where flow gains are validated.
  • OE-diameter and +Oversize selections for ported heads.

Materials & Surface Finishes

Stainless Steel

High-grade stainless (e.g., 21-4N/EV8) with Superfinished stems.

  • Black Nitride treatment.
  • One Piece forged valve (non Magnetic)

Inconel / Superalloy

For forced induction engines, and High EGTs

  • High temperature alloy, prevents valve warppage
  • harden tips, swirl polish

Titanium (Select)

Ultra-light, high-strength valves to reduce valvetrain mass.

  • CrN Nitride
  • Profesional use

Surface Treatments

  • Black Nitride - lowers friction and improves wear.
  • CrN / PVD - best used with most guides, and seats
  • Swirl-Polish & Back-Cut -  increased flow rates

Geometry & Options

  • OE, +1mm, +2mm (varies by platform).
  • Flat, dished
  • Undercut vs. straight stems

Quality & Tolerances

  • Precision stem roundness and surface finish.
  • Concentricity and seat-face accuracy.
  • 100% inspected critical dimensions.

Fitment & Shopping Help

Choosing Valve Size

Stay at OE diameter for stock ports and pump-gas builds. Use +oversize with ported heads and when airflow testing shows a measurable gain. Always verify piston-to-valve and seat throat dimensions.

Street vs. Track Use

Street/NA: stainless intake + stainless exhaust.  Forced Induction / Track : consider inconel exhaust and a matched spring/retainer set to control valve motion at elevated RPM and EGT.

Recommended Complements

  • Supertech valve springs and retainers matched to your cam.
  • Precision valve guides  for longevity.
  • New stem seals and proper machine work for best results.

Installation Notes

  • Measure guide ID and hone to spec; set correct stem-to-guide clearance by material.
  • Cut seats with proper angles and concentricity; verify contact width and placement.
  • Check installed height, spring pressure, coil bind, and retainer-to-seal clearance.
  • Verify piston-to-valve clearance at intended lift and cam timing.
  • Follow appropriate break-in and re-torque procedures per platform.
